A Letter to Mr. Donald Trump, the President,
Good evening, Mr. President -
Remember Billy Graham, the preacher from Charlotte, North Carolina, who provided direct spiritual counsel to 12 sitting U.S. presidents, spanning from Harry S. Truman to Barack Obama. His interactions with 13 presidents, including your attendance at his 95th birthday party before your first term, highlight his personal influence and your connection to this legacy, Mr. President.
If Billy Graham were alive today, I can hear him, humbly and with great conviction, say, "Mr. President, Jesus is calling you today, saying: Follow me." Mt 9:9. For what will it profit you if you gain the whole world but forfeit your soul? Mt 16:26
Dear friend, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, 'I will take revenge; I will pay them back,' says the Lord. (Rm 12:19). But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as a true son of your Father in heaven. Mt 5:44
Paul says, "For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard." (Rm 3:23) and ". . . the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." Rm 6:23 . . . if you confess your sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive you your sins and to cleanse you from all wickedness. 1 Jn 1:9
Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household." Ac 16:31 for God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. Jn 3:17
Jesus says, "Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends." Rv 3:20 The Spirit and the bride say, 'Come.' Let anyone who hears this say, 'Come.' Rv 22:17
Mr. President, will you come to Jesus tonight? He is love, and he loves you.
